Potstickers
What can I say? These potstickers are awesome! Perfectly crispy, the pork is seasoned just right and the “Stinging Honey Garlic Sauce” is an absolute home run! The sauce is really what makes the dish, the perfect balance of sweet and heat!
Smoked Bologna
Well, let me just leave the menu description here:
“Premium Bologna, slow smoked, thick sliced & grilled. Served on soft sourdough bread with lettuce, tomato & mayo.”
Don’t think this is your run of the mill bologna, the smoke and grill combo adds a flavor that borders on what some would call too good for Ohio. I, myself, had to take a minute after the first bite. I had to look around and make sure I hadn’t been magically transported to some fancy pants, five star BBQ joint in the middle of Kansas City. Pair that with what I would swear was fresh baked sourdough and the must have lettuce, tomato, and mayo you have yourself a treat for your tastebuds that you will not regret. Trust me, give this sandwich a try, even if you don’t think you like bologna. The onion chips on the side were a delight as well. Crispy and delicious but not greasy.
Squash Soup
I originally ordered this in a bread bowl, it was the soup of the day, unfortunately they were sold out. But none the less the soup did not disappoint! The best way I could describe it would be a creamy, slightly earthy fall spice delight. This soup would be great on a cool day or in the heat of summer. It has that perfect balance that would work either way.
Bowls are served with cornbread and the cornbread itself might be worthy of a writeup all by itself. It’s not dry and crumbly, it is more like a moist yellow cake that tastes like cornbread.
