Blackened Fish Taco
This dish received an 8 out of 10. It’s a soft taco with a blackened white fish. Topped with cabbage, pickled onion and sour cream. The presentation of the food was good, I am not one for how food looks, I am 100% taste based. However, it is icing on the cake so to speak. The pickled onion was delicious. The only complaint I had with this dish is the blackened seasoning. It was a little heavy on the salt but that wasn’t noticeable if you succeeded in getting a bite with everything in it. All the right textures were there and complimented each other, over all a good taco.
Chicken Taco w/Salsa Verde, Lime and Cilantro
This dish received an 9 out of 10. It’s a soft taco with crispy chicken tenders as the base protein. I chose the salsa verde, topped with cilantro and chopped onion. Presentation was good, texture was great and the taste? Well, addicting. I couldn’t say a bad thing about these two great tacos, the tastes blended almost perfectly together. I don’t know if they make their own verde, but it tastes astounding! Highly recommend to try these if they are on the menu when you hit the Street Kitchen up!
